Things to note:

If you are using your EZ-Link card for ERP & parking needs, please DO NOT upgrade your card. No action is required and you can continue using your existing EZ-Link card for motoring payments.

1. The process of upgrading your card is non-reversible.

2. Account-based EZ-Link cards cannot be used to pay for ERP and carpark charges.

Continue using your existing EZ-Link cards for motoring payments and we highly encourage you to sign-up for our auto top-up service which takes away your worries of having insufficient value in your cards. EZ-Link cards are also future-proofed with the upcoming ERP 2.0 system to be introduced in 2021. Alternatively, you can also purchase the EZ-Link x Touch ‘n Go motoring card which has an additional TNG purse for cross-border travels.

3. You should always maintain a min. of $3* in your account-based EZ-Link in order to board the bus or train.

*Have peace of mind on your card balance when you pair your SimplyGo EZ-Link card to the EZ-Link app! Switch on notifications to receive low-balance alerts.

4. Card balance and trip fares will not be displayed on bus readers and fare gates.

However you can view these details anytime, anywhere via the EZ-Link app.

How do I apply for the upgraded auto top-up service

Step 3: Activate the Auto Top-up function on the EZ-Link app (For new users)

Choose your preferred top-up
amount and payment method
